Our Story
Serendipity at it's finest
As fate (and GOD) would have it, a sporadic trip to Sedona in April of 2023 would be the start of a beautiful love story. But first, a brief back story.
Louis and Chisom first met in July 2008 through a multi-chapter Igbo cultural and social organization called Abatete USA. The organization was founded as an ode to their parents' hometown, Abatete, in the great Anambra State of southeastern Nigeria. Their parents were (and still are) avid attendees, and these conventions very quickly morphed into family reunion-esque get togethers every summer amongst both parents and kids. Year after year of going to these conventions solidified their friendship, prompting holiday phone calls, social media chats about random topics, and occasional life check ins. It wasn't out of the ordinary that Louis reached out to Chisom in April 2023 with hope of linking up in her home state on a solo trip to Sedona (he promises it was innocent). Little did he know this trip would change the trajectory of his life forever.
As we prepare for our upcoming nuptials, a hearty welcome to our love story is extended. We are so grateful you are here and are so excited to bring you along for the next step in our relationship.

Our venue is located in western Phoenix, about 25 minutes west of Sky Harbor Int'l Airport just off the I-10W. While the accommodations options listed below will be within a 15 minute drive of the venue, our guests are more than welcome to seek other accommodations in the western and downtown Phoenix area to meet their personal preferences.

SHUTTLE
We want everyone to have fun and to stay safe. We've hired a shuttle to pick up our guests from the Holiday Inn and Courtyard every 30 minutes for the first 2 hours and last hour of the event.
